You can participate in the RoboCup German Open 2026 with your major team. The event is aimed at regional and international major teams from the RoboCup leagues and serves as a competition and exchange platform.
Registration takes place via the RoboCup portal. There you create your team, select the appropriate league, and enter the required team data.

There are currently nine different regional junior qualification tournaments in which you can participate with a junior team in a league or discipline held there.
The best teams from the qualification tournaments qualify for the German finals at the German Open.
The best teams from the German Open qualify for the RoboCup World Championship or the European RoboCupJunior Championship.
You can decide for yourself which qualifying tournament you would like to register your junior teams for.
We are also happy to advise you on setting up new junior teams at a school or establishing a new location for a regional qualifying tournament. You can find the locations of the qualifying tournaments here.
Registration start: October 15, 2025
Registration deadline: November 30, 2025 (after this date, no changes can be made by adding/removing teams or participants)
Last data changes: December 14, 2025 (e.g., team/participant names, coaches)
Starting places for the German finals are regulated by quotas depending on the category. The quotas will be published at the beginning of December. Very high quotas may apply in individual categories (e.g., “100% quota”), which makes participation in these areas easier.
The costs range between €30 and €38 per participant. The costs depend on the location and can be viewed on the respective subpage.
The invoices are issued by the respective locations.
