Messe Kassel will become a science hotspot from April 18 to 21, 2024.The RoboCup German Open is the event of the year for intelligent robotics andthe most important event on the scene in Europe. The competitions for national and international teams who are passionate about the research, development and application of AI, robotics, computer science, electrical and mechanical engineeringare a magnet for researchers, students and pupils.More than 800 active participants from all over the world are expected at Messe Kassel, including the major leagues with over 30 national and international teams from Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands and the USA, among others, as well as the best 200 school teams from Germany in the junior leagues, the age group from 10 to 19 years.The RoboCup German Open 2025 is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.The 1st German Robotics Conference, where top German research in AI-based robotics will exchange ideas, and the Freizeit Messe will take place at the same time. Competitions in the RoboCup Junior League will take place from April 19-21 and in the RoboCup Major League from April 18-20. The halls will open for visitors at 09:00 on each competition day and close at 18:30 at the latest.

Admission for school classes is free of charge. Early registration ensures that everything runs smoothly.
Public transportation: Messe Kassel is easily accessible via local bus and train connections. You can find up-to-date information on connections and any increases in transport services at the weekend at nvv.de.
